Tanzania Clean Water Efforts in 2022

Clean water restoration is messy and takes a lot of patience.

Throughout the year we get updates from some of our water partners, and we were recently shown some of the efforts and challenges in a village in Tanzania called Kadoto. This village is slowly progressing in water sanitation and hygiene that we'd describe as a healthy and sustainable. This picture above is of village leaders and LifeWater community organizers coming together to discuss how best to improve the health of their community through sustainable habits and behavior changes.

Anyone who has operated or donated in international water efforts will likely know that many times it is two steps forward, one step back. Even when the wind is at your back change is difficult. So many challenges can come your way. Climate, culture, disease, war, apathy among other factors can hinder clean water efforts. The good news is that we and our water partners, namely LifeWater in this instance, are committed for the marathon of clean water restoration and empowerment.

We remain hopeful and focused.

So, how can you help? Right now we're currently offering an absolute knock-out of a drip coffee from Korongo, Tanzania. By choosing to grab your daily cup from us - either in-store or at home - you're partnering with our efforts in Tanzania both past and future. YOU are turning coffee into water.
